AC Rewards
ACTIVITY REWARDS Have some extra activity that you don't know what to do with? Maybe one of the extra rewards below will catch your fancy. Do not consider this an exhaustive list of rewards. If you have ideas or suggestions on other rewards to add, please contact the moderator team and you just might see it here in the future. Please note that all rewards require a number of proofs, not a number of comments. For a proof to count, it must be at least 5 comments in length (inbox, network, log, or TDM) by your character. Backdated threads do count and must be used within the year they start to be redeemed. For example: a player has a thread from March 2024 they'd like to redeem. They would be able to use that thread for a reward until March of 2025. You cannot use activity threads that you have submitted for AC. Update: As of November 2024 inventory regains can be used to any generic item that can be found from character's world (as long as the regain is within a reason, of course). The item cannot belong to other characters or be from another canon. Housing & Buildings⇁One Extra Bed (House)⇁ 3 Proofs NPCs will deliver an extra bed to a character's house. ICly free, and will be provided immediately. One Extra Room (House)⇁ 6 Proofs NPCs will come and add on an extra room to a character's house. ICly may need to go on a small materials quest in the caves to get stones. Two days after materials are collected, the room will be finished. One Extra Floor (House)⇁ 9 Proofs NPCs will come and add on an extra floor to a character's house. ICly will need to go on a larger materials quest for stones and a little bit of wood for this expansion. A week after materials are collected, the floor will be finished. One New House⇁ 12 Proofs This isn't the default one bed, one bath that characters are given. This is a house that is completely customized by a player to set it up in the way that they want it. There's a four bedroom, three bath limit until further regains are needed to add on extra rooms. Will need a lot of stones and wooden materials for this, so grab a friend (or two or more) and get into that forest or caves and harvest your materials! Two weeks after materials are collected, the house will be finished, Regain Business (From Home)⇁ 9 Proofs You may regain a business of your choice with this regain. Simply cash your proofs in, and the next day the character will wake up with the building of your choice in Aldrip. Regain Building (From Home)⇁ 12 Proofs You may regain a building of your choice with this regain. Simply cash your proofs in, and the next day the character will wake up with the building of your choice in Aldrip. New Building (take-over)⇁ 9 Proofs You may take over a business of your choice that's already built in Aldrip. Simply speak to the NPC in charge of the business, and they will hand over the business to your character. New Building (custom)⇁ 12 Proofs For a customized, new business of your choice, you may provide these proofs to get the ball rolling. As with the housing, ICly you will need to help gather materials from the forest or the caves to get this built. Skills⇁For all skill rewards, we have a limit of ONE of each for the following: non-magical skills, passive skills, and magical skills. Skill Gain (non-magical)⇁ 3 Proofs Ex: blacksmithing, hacking, or another skill that your character wouldn't normally know off-hand. They will wake up one morning able to do it-- courtesy of Those Who Were There. If you're unsure where your ability falls, please contact the mods. Limit one per character at a time. If a player wants their character to regain more, then they will need to lose a skill. At the time of cashing in on your reward, note which skill you're losing and which one you're gaining. Skill Gain (magical, passive)⇁ 6 Proofs Ex: telepathy, magic detection, or another passive magical skill that your character wouldn't normally know off-hand. Skill Gain (magical)⇁ 9 Proofs Ex: An equivalent of the spell Fira or Thundara that your character wouldn’t already know. Skill Gain (magical or non-magical)⇁ 12 Proofs Ex: An equivalent of the spell Firaga or Thundaga that your character wouldn’t already know. For Persona characters who may need to switch out or add to their (pre-existing) slots of Persona – this is the tier that you would use. You will need 12 proofs to regain / evolve / switch out a Persona. Skill Gain (enhance)⇁ 3 proofs Enhances one skill of your choosing. Do you want to run faster? Jump higher? Level up a spell you already have? This is what you'll need to do. Items⇁Inventory Regain (small)⇁ 3 Proofs Regain one item from home. The item should be lightweight and be able to be held in one hand. A gift from Those Who Were There. Inventory Regain (medium)⇁ 6 Proofs Regain one item from home. The item should be able to be held with two hands, with or without difficulty. This is what you would use to regain Inventory Regain (large)⇁ 9 Proofs An item or animal that could be sat on or ridden. The item can be as big as a person and either be alive or inanimate. A gift from Those Who Were There. Miscellaneous⇁Memory Regain⇁ 9 Proofs You can only possess one of these at a time. This reward applies to characters who were dropped from Expiation and reapplied for later (by the same player), or by memories that may be lost in events. You can redeem this for exactly one memory. If you have additional memories you want to regain, you will have to redeem further proofs. Additional Character⇁ 9 Proofs You can only have one of these in possession at a time. If you've already hit your maximum of two characters and you want to apply for another one, this is what you need to make that happen. When approved, this will be notated (👑) on the taken character page until you make use of it. AC Pass (half)⇁ 6 proofs You may only redeem and hold one of these at a time, which will be notated (🏆) on the taken character page. This pass will allow you to give half of your AC for the month of your choosing. For example, since our AC is 15 comments a month, we will allow 7 comments instead. AC Pass⇁ 12 Proofs You may only redeem and hold one of these at a time, which will be notated (💎) on the taken character page. This pass will allow you to pass AC for the month in which you choose to redeem it, eliminating the need for you to submit proof of activity. AC passes cannot be used in conjunction with a hiatus. Crime Reassignment⇁ 9 Proofs While there are game mechanics that will be in place in the future to do this, if you would like your character to get their crime changed on their paper, you may submit your proofs for this here. Lore Drop⇁ 15 Proofs One piece of lore that's up to mod discretion, usually relating to what's going on in the world at the time. Only three pieces of lore a year per player. Will be marked (❌) on the taken list as they're redeemed. |

So feel free to say "NO, DAMMIT!" to this buuut...
Requesting the severed head of Sephiroth's mom. Full disclosure if he gets this there is a one million percent chance of it causing problems for possibly everybody at some point in the distant future. That's a lot of Jenova cells to exploit.

After some consideration and deliberation, the moderator team finds it acceptable for Sephiroth to have his mother's head.
That said—
The Jenova cells present here will be, by default, dormant except in the case of special occasions (i.e., personal player plots, events, other moments of emotional duress or similar). This is to keep this from getting out of hand and being used excessively.
Sephiroth will mysteriously discover that his mother's head is, for some reason, being carried by a merchant who is travelling into Aldrip from another settlement. Why this merchant has her head, who can say for sure. Should Sephiroth inquire, the merchant will merely say that they cannot reveal their sources or their secrets.
Thus, you may incorporate him obtaining her head at a time convenient to you.

more coherently writtenAU of Final Fantasy VII. Obviously, if I develop any plans for using the head I will let mods know! And always feel free to say "no" to my schemes, I promise I won't take it personally.
